Milo's Santa has a name: Debbie

Debbie,
thank you! thank you! thank you! Milo loves loves loves the present. He worked on the bone for more than 1/2 hour and he seems very happy and satisfied now.

The blanket is just perfect, exactly what he/we needed ;) We were trying to protect the couch now that Milo spends the whole day there and we were using an old towel. Now he has his own little blanket... too cute!

You are his Santa Claus :)

After the bone

He seemed pretty satisfied after his bone, but it looks like he's asking for the second one already

Milo celebrating Christmas

Isn't this Christmas stocking awesome?

Early Christmas for Milo

Pet Camp

We will be flying out for Christmas but Milo will stay behind. I don't feel sad leaving him because he does not seem to mind. We found a great place that takes care of him. It's a former horse stable so the rooms are very big. They let them walk off-leash and swim in a small lake. Milo starts getting excited even miles before we arrive... I wish he would miss me more...

Rest in Peace. You will be missed...

My life is reflected on Milo's

Lately, nothing exciting with Milo... poor boy! I have been so busy with finals and family matters that he has been a little neglected. But since I know that I have some faithful readers, now that my finals are over (yeah!!!) I will try to post more often.

The only time I ever thought of taking Milo to the airport was when we were living in TX and the first sign I saw on the door was "no dogs allowed". So that was Milo's first and last visit to the airport until last month. I was picking up my husband from and he asked me to bring him along since the weekend traffic after Thanksgiving can be very hectic, he did not want Milo to be alone for a long time while we were stuck in traffic. Since NYC is more pet-friendly, Milo had a good walk inside and outside the airport. It was a busy place, but it seemed like everybody noticed him! He is not a dog that can go unnoticed, specially now with the missing leg.

The weekend after that it was my turn to go fly and Milo joined us again. He had his first encounter with an escalator, but I did not see it. My husband tells me that he was scared and had to pull him to get on it. Milo had never been more still.
